The automatic recount of votes will take place this upcoming Monday, November 14th. It will begin at Winthrop School at 10:00 a.m..

Yesterday 1NL candidates Dr. Charles Frink and Bill Cornish were elected to city council. 1 NL candidate Richard Humphreville is neck in neck with Peg Curtin, a recount is taking place today. One New London has started with a bigger splash than anyone could have imagined. It is thanks to the overwhelming support of concerned New Londoners. Yesterday’s election doesn’t mark the end of anything; yesterday’s election marks the begining of New London’s renewal. Thanks to everyone who supported us…

As the election approaches One New London will need the help of volunteers. We need people to make phone calls, give voters rides to the polls and also to be present at the polls. One New London’s first fundraiser!

One New London will be having its first fundraiser. On Friday October 14th from 5 to 8 p.m. One New London supporters can meet for beer, wine and appetizers. The event is taking place at 160 Broad Streeet, and tickets can be purchased from any of the 1NL candidates for a recommended price of $25+. Email 1NL for more information.

This Thurday at 7 p.m. on channel 25 One New London’s candidates Bill CORNISH and Tom PICINICH will be talking about economic development and marketing of the city. Tom PICINICH, Michael CRISTOFARO and Dr. Charles FRINK will be hosting Kathleen Mitchell’s public access television show again this Thursday September 16th at 7 p.m.. The candidates will be talking about marketing strategies for the city, NLDC’s recent decision to ignore the state’s moratorium on eminent domain and budget issues. Calls are encouraged.
